Autumn Moon
A harvest moon is always full and rising just as the sun sets which gives the moon its seemingly enlarged size and color. The light reflected by the moon allows the harvest to continue past sunset. The screen itself is a tip to the Japanese tradition of screen paintings. The owl was an addition at the end to enhance the nocturnal quality of the painting.
